I'm surprised that I'm the first to review this rather wonderful eliquid! This is pretty much exactly as described - which is unusual for eliquids. First off I was a bit curious about the top note seeming slightly floral, but after a while I understood what it was; cooking apples! It's been ages since I've actually eaten apple pie/crumble, but after vaping this juice I'm instantly reminded of stewed cooking apples. Simply amazing. And yes, the pastry and custard follow up closely behind, making this very rounded. I've had a few apple custard type vapes and they always seem to leave an unpleasant taste in your mouth, but this, probably due to the cooking apple finish, is ever so refreshing. Bang on yet again Grumpy Juice!
Oh yeah! This is a stunning juice! Now admittedly I've only ever vaped one other cereal eliquid, from a UK brand which, though a beautiful crafted vape, is too dominant with its lemon flavouring. Grumpy Loops however is perfectly balanced; the wheaty elements are on the same level with the citrus notes, and the latter are pleasantly complex. It's a colourful vape indeed!
I'll admit that at first my socks were blown off by the lime, and there's a very strong lime smell straight out of the bottle - though it's a very natural lime smell. However, now I've re-dripped a few times, and possibly due to the wicking settling in, the lime has been knocked back a few paces and the smooth, cooling milk flavour comes into play. The pastry effect is perhaps more of a texture than anything, though there is certainly something there that suggests a bakery finish. The lime is natural and is balanced well with the milk. Definitely one of the best Key Lime Pie flavour liquids I've had.
This is a smooth, thick vape. Nicely balanced by the sweetness of the apple - though by no means overly sweet. It may be my setup, but it's a shame the pastry doesn't come through stronger. But overall, well worth a go.
Oh this is nice, very nice indeed! The lemon, fortunately, is an underlying flavour that adds a delicate sharpness to the biscuity goodness. For me this juice is superior to others of its ilk due to its subtlety; I've found that this type of flavour can be a bit too overpowering, but Grumpy's version is just right.
